Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter to provide on-site operational support in reconstruction projects. The candidate must have extensive carpentry experience and be able to work with minimal supervision while assisting with scope development with BELFOR Estimators.

The role includes advancing from residential toward commercial and multi-family projects, performing emergency services, and expanding material knowledge across framing, cabinetry, trim, insulation, and roofing components.

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience required.
• Ability to supervise unskilled labor and occasional subcontractors.
• Capable of working with little supervision.
• Experience with emergency services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential project problems and seek guidance as needed.
• Answer questions and route complex issues to senior staff.
• Move and protect contents to prevent damage.
• Create containment for dust, dirt, and contaminants in work area.
• Perform tasks using BELFOR methods for floodcutting, salvaging, and labeling baseboards/cabinets/doors.
