Job summary

We Care Senior Care, a proud Home Instead franchise, seeks a Lead Caregiver to drive excellence in client starts of care and lead a team of caregivers in Madison, WI. This full-time role requires flexible availability and a compassionate approach to in-home support.

Responsibilities include client introductions, updating care plans, training staff, and ensuring high client satisfaction. Qualifications include in-home caregiving experience and CNA/home health aide credentials.

Qualifications

• Heart of an in-home caregiver and strong communication skills.
• Experience in caregiving, assisted living, or CBRF is a plus; CNA, home health aide, or resident assistant required.

Responsibilities

• Complete introductions with new clients.
• Cover shifts with new clients as needed while care team is built.
• Update care plans with new clients.
• Train and acclimate caregivers to new clients.
• Communicate with Client Care and office staff to ensure client satisfaction.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and medication reminders.
• Provide toileting and incontinence care.
• Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals, light housekeeping, and errands assistance.
• Support client safety, well-being, and report changes to the care team.
• Support clients with Alzheimer's, dementia and other cognitive conditions.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and their families.
