Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Severna Park, MD is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader, ensuring high-quality resident care while coaching and supporting the caregiving team.

You will provide hands-on ADL support, monitor resident changes, review charting for ISP alignment, and mentor new staff to uphold safety, compliance, and compassionate service. This role blends frontline caregiving with leadership responsibilities to grow your career while making a meaningful difference daily.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
• Strong communication, delegation and decision‑making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care or senior care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure ISP alignment.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.

Pay Range: 17.10 - 21.40
