Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver in Annapolis to guide shifts, mentor caregivers, and ensure high-quality resident care. You will lead assignments, support onboarding, monitor changes, and uphold safety and documentation standards while modeling professionalism and compassion for residents and the caregiving team.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration certifications, plus strong communication, delegation, and decision-making

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills essential.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.

Pay Range: 17.10 - 21.40
