Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Michigan seeks a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader, ensuring high-quality resident care while mentoring the caregiving team.

You will coordinate coverage, coach on quality and documentation, review ISP-aligned charting, monitor resident changes, support onboarding, and promote safety and compliance on every shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum age 18.
• CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation and decision-making skills expected.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance and coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality and documentation standards.
