Monday–Friday, with 6:30 AM–5:00 PM shifts, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. The position emphasizes accuracy in insurance verification, EPIC familiarity, and independent prioritization within a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years office clerical experience, including a minimum of three years in a medical office setting.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in a personable and professional manner.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Strong computer skills; prefer experience with electronic medical record.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a fast-paced healthcare setting with patients, families and healthcare personnel.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work independently.

Position Summary

To provide patient appointment scheduling, reception, clerical and customer service functions to all patients, visitors, and employees. These functions include: scheduling appointments, patient reception, appointment check-in, insurance verification and other related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday. Varying 8-hour shift based of coverage needs. 6:30AM to 5:00PM.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years office clerical experience, including a minimum of three years in a medical office setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal training program in medical reception, an equivalent program, or a customer service program preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting and EPIC
• Competency in medical terminology and health care business environment is preferred
