Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead multi-discipline BIM efforts on transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models, run clash tests, and enforce standards across offices to deliver coordinated federated deliverables.

The role involves mentoring staff, interfacing with clients, and supporting design through basic to complex modeling tasks, using Autodesk and Bentley tools as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degrees not required; HS diploma with tech training acceptable.
• Extensive experience coordinating intelligent models across multiple design disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of transit agency and DOT design standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, structures, roadway and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and drive issue resolution.
• Establish and enforce BIM/CADD standards and workflows.
• Mentor staff across offices to build repeatable modeling capabilities.
• Prepare design criteria and supporting diagrams for project phases.
• Interface with clients and subconsultants on deliverable requirements.
