Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate intelligent models across architecture, structures, and MEP, perform clash detection in Navisworks, and enforce BIM standards across offices.

The role supports field teams and integrates design requirements into federated models. Required are strong coordination skills, extensive BIM experience, and the ability to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and coordinate resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Mentor and guide production staff with design sketches and refine technical requirements.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise pursuit teams on integration approach and LOE.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on deliverable requirements and data handoff standards.
• Verify model integrity and maintain interoperability across Autodesk toolset.
