Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Senior Principal CAD/BIM Structural Designer to lead Revit modeling and contract drawings across multi-disciplinary projects. The role requires strong Revit skills and the ability to coordinate with engineers and other disciplines.

You will mentor designers, uphold BIM standards, and contribute to clash detection and resolution, with optional AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency as a benefit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience, or an associate degree/technical certification and 10 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience leading and coordinating construction contract drawings for medium and large projects.
• Experience mentoring less experienced designers.

Responsibilities

• Developing Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Coordinating contract drawing development with multiple disciplines.
• Performing BIM model clash detection and resolving conflicts with disciplines.
• Training/mentoring less experienced designers.
• Reviewing models and drawings for less experienced designers.
• Providing input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows.
