Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to work with project managers and engineers on structural BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings. You will lead model and drawing development, perform clash detection, and ensure standards are followed. Proficiency in Revit is essential; AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.

The role includes mentoring junior designers and coordinating with multiple disciplines on medium to large projects, contributing to high-quality, deliverable work.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor's degree and 6–10 years of experience in CAD/BIM design.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.
• Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for medium/large projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop Revit models, families, and contract documents for structural discipline.
• Coordinate contract drawing development with multiple disciplines.
• Perform BIM model clash detection and resolve conflicts with teams.
• Train/mentor less experienced designers and review their work.
• Provide input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows.
