Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is looking for a Principal CAD/BIM Designer in Cincinnati, Ohio, to work closely with project managers and engineers in creating and coordinating process mechanical BIM (Revit) models for various facility projects.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with skills in coordinating multidisciplinary designs and leading construction contract drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coordinating construction contract drawings for medium- and large-scale projects.
• Hands-on Revit experience, especially with MEP design.
• Experience collaborating across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Developing Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Lay out process mechanical piping in Revit to create enlarged plans.
• Coordinate with various disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts.

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit

Autodesk FORMA

AutoCAD/Civil 3D

Mechanical piping design

Education

Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience
