Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to work with project managers and engineers to produce structural BIM models, families, and contract drawings. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Revit and have experience leading model and drawing development, including clash detection and standard adherence.

AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills would be a plus. Responsibilities include developing Revit models and coordinating with disciplines, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to CAD/BIM

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for modeling, families and contract drawings.
• Experience leading BIM model and contract drawing development for projects.
• Experience performing interdisciplinary clash detection and resolving conflicts; adherence to standards.
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop Revit models, families, and contract documents for structural discipline.
• Coordinate contract drawing development with multiple disciplines.
• Perform BIM model clash detection and resolve conflicts with other disciplines.
• Train and mentor less experienced designers; review models/drawings.
• Provide input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows.
