Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer seeks a CAD/BIM Designer to work with project managers and engineers to produce structural Revit models, families and contract drawings for the structural discipline.

The ideal candidate will lead model development, perform interdisciplinary clash detection, coordinate drawing production, mentor junior designers and ensure adherence to CAD/BIM standards and workflows, with AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6–10 years experience, or an associate degree/technical certification with 6–10 years.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for medium to large projects; AutoCAD/Civil 3D a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Coordinating contract drawing development with multiple disciplines.
• Performing BIM model clash detection and resolving conflicts.
• Training/mentoring less experienced designers.
• Reviewing models and drawings for less experienced designers.
• Providing input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows.
