Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to work with project managers and engineers to produce structural BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings for the structural discipline. Ideal candidates will be proficient in Autodesk Revit and capable of leading model development, clash detection, and coordination across disciplines.

Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus. The role involves mentoring less experienced designers, reviewing models, and contributing to CAD/BIM

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor's degree and 6 to 10 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D would be a benefit.
• Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for medium and large projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Coordinating contract drawing development with multiple disciplines.
• Performing BIM model clash detection and resolving conflicts with disciplines.
• Training/mentoring less experienced designers.
• Reviewing models and drawings for less experienced designers.
• Providing input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows.
