Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to work with project managers and engineers to produce structural BIM (Revit) models, families, and contract drawings for the structural discipline.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Revit with experience in creating models, families and contract drawings. AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency would be a benefit and the candidate will have experience leading model and drawing development, including clash detection and conflict reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 6–10 years of experience, or an associate degree/technical certification with 6–10 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D would be a benefit.
• Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for medium to large projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop Revit models, families, and contract documents.
• Coordinate contract drawing development with multiple disciplines.
• Perform BIM model clash detection and resolve conflicts across disciplines.
• Train and mentor less experienced designers.
• Review models and drawings for less experienced designers.
• Provide input on CAD/BIM standards and workflows.
