Job summary

CUI Cable Services seeks a motivated, hands-on Cable Technician Operations Supervisor to lead field technicians and drive safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You’ll coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while coordinating daily routes and deployments to optimize productivity.

You will analyze KPIs, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role offers growth opportunities and a path to advance within the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in telecommunications or cable operations.
• Experience leading field technicians.
• Strong knowledge of cable installation, service, troubleshooting, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and drive results.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team of cable technicians.
• Conduct ride-alongs and performance reviews to help technicians grow.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and safety-first culture.
• Plan daily workloads, routes, and technician assignments to maximize productivity.
• Monitor staffing levels, service completion rates and scheduling.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications.
• Perform quality control inspections and field audits.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Partner with technicians to improve first-time completion rates and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and profitability.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, vehicles, and inventory.
• Assist with complex installations and technical troubleshooting when needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer standards, and safety regulations.
