Job summary

NextEdge is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to oversee daily project performance and ensure technicians deliver quality client service. You will support Project Managers in hitting safety, quality, and financial goals across aerial, underground, and MDU work.

You will coordinate workloads, review timekeeping, conduct QA inspections, and lead weekly safety and performance meetings, while remaining flexible for on-call and emergency situations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cable TV field operations experience incl. aerial and underground construction practices, MDU/Commercial wiring and codes.
• DOT regulated position; requires annual MVR and a DOT physical.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Routes daily workload for aerial, underground, or MDU work.
• Ensure projects meet specifications and deadlines.
• Review technician time sheets for accuracy and coding.
• Perform QA inspections on technician work.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback with HR as needed.
• Investigate and resolve damage claims promptly.
• Coordinate with customers to resolve service-related issues.
• Conduct weekly vehicle and tool inspections and safety meetings.
• Lead weekly team meetings emphasizing safety and quality.
• Call in Locates for underground work.
• Be flexible for on-call rotations or emergencies.
