Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of insurance lifecycle: policy, claims, billing, underwriting.
• Familiarity with Jira and data analysis; agile delivery experience.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document scope, processes, and requirements with stakeholders.
• Produce user stories and functional/non-functional requirements.
• Lead requirements gathering for policy, claims, billing, and underwriting.
• Analyze current insurance processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with product managers, underwriters, and technical teams to define solutions.
• Work with development teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Collaborate with QA teams to validate test cases and support UAT.
• Ensure traceability of requirements and user stories throughout the lifecycle.
• Apply BA best practices and drive value.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and drive change.
• Leverage AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance the requirements lifecycle.
