Job summary

Coaction Specialty Insurance seeks a Senior Business Analyst, Underwriting Solutions, to bridge business and technology across underwriting platforms. You will elicit requirements, craft user stories, and guide end-to-end delivery from design to UAT for multiple lines of business.

You will collaborate with underwriting, product, and delivery teams and drive process improvements while leveraging AI tools to accelerate requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field; insurance designations are a plus.
• 10+ years as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry (commercial lines preferred).
• Familiar with policy lifecycle, claims, billing and underwriting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate scope, processes, and requirements with stakeholders.
• Produce user stories and functional/non-functional requirements with traceability.
• Lead requirements gathering for policy, claims, billing and underwriting projects.
• Analyze current insurance processes and identify efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with product, underwriting, and tech teams to define solutions.
• Ensure alignment with business objectives and QA/UAT readiness.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate requirement development and documentation.
