Job summary

ECS Florida, LLC is seeking a Building Enclosure Senior Project Architect to join our Florida Building Science + Infrastructure team in Orlando, FL. You will manage building enclosure consulting projects, lead technical investigations, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and owners.

Responsibilities include testing, site observations, design reviews, and reporting, with a focus on code compliance (IBC, ASHRAE, ASTM, SMACNA, CSI) and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture with NCARB.
• Registered Architect licensure is required.
• 5+ years of building enclosure consulting experience including investigations, testing, BECx, design review or forensic assessments.
• Certifications are preferred but not required (IIBEC, BECxP, CxA+BE).

Responsibilities

• Lead building enclosure investigations, testing, commissioning and design consulting.
• Manage multiple projects from setup through completion with schedule, scope, and budget controls.
• Interface with clients, coordinators, engineers and owners in client-facing roles.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise field personnel during inspections and testing.
• Prepare and review reports, proposals, changes orders, and invoices.
