Job summary

ECS Florida, LLC is seeking a Building Enclosure Senior Project Architect in Miami, FL to lead technical consulting on building envelope investigations, testing, commissioning, and design reviews. You will manage projects, mentor junior staff, and interact closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions.

Candidate should have RA licensure, 5+ years in enclosure consulting, and NCARB-eligible credentials.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architectural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
5+ years of related experience with building enclosure consulting, including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
Registered Architect (R.A.) licensure is required.
The following certifications are preferred but not required: IIBEC (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP); BECxP / CxA+BE from UW–Madison.

Responsibilities

Manage building science & infrastructure projects from setup through completion.
Coordinate project teams and direct site activities with field staff, subcontractors, and senior managers.
Lead client meetings, present testing results, and maintain client relationships.
Mentor junior staff and supervise field personnel performing inspections and testing.
Prepare building science reports, review technical content, and ensure professional clarity.
