Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Orlando, FL is seeking a Building Enclosure Senior Project Architect to lead enclosure consulting projects and serve as a lead technical consultant on investigations, assessments, commissioning, testing, and design consulting.

You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams to evaluate building envelope performance and deliver practical solutions across a variety of facility types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture (NCARB) required.
• Registered Architect (RA) licensure required.
• 5+ years of building enclosure consulting experience including field investigations, testing, commissioning (BECx).
• IIBEC certifications (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBECxP) or UW–Madison certifications (BECxP, CxA+BE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead building enclosure investigations, testing, and commissioning (BECx).
• Perform site observations and inspections of roofing and enclosure systems.
• Drafting or CAD work and review design documents.
• Manage projects from setup to completion, within schedule, scope, and budget.
• Interface with clients, lead project meetings, present findings.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate staffing for projects.
• Prepare and review reports with clear, technical content.
