Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Tampa, FL is seeking a Building Enclosure Senior Project Architect to lead building enclosure consulting projects within our Florida Building Science + Infrastructure team. You will be the lead technical consultant on investigations, assessments, commissioning, testing, and design reviews, directing cross-disciplinary teams and mentoring junior staff.

You will manage client relationships, prepare proposals and invoices, and ensure project scope, schedule, and budget

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of building science, enclosure systems, and construction practices.
• Deep understanding of building codes, materials, and structural or architectural systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and consulting capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Sound judgment, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage building science & infrastructure projects from setup through completion.
• Coordinate project teams and direct site activities with field staff and contractors.
• Lead client meetings, present findings, and advise on changes.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure quality of reports and deliverables.
