Essential Employment Services, Inc is seeking a Retail Personal Service Provider Lead for a cannabis dispensary. You will open/close the dispensary, train PSPs, handle cash, and ensure compliant, accurate transactions while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will educate customers on products and maintain a welcoming team environment, including evenings/weekends. Strong knowledge of cannabis laws and POS experience are required.

Competenze

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 2–3 years of experience in a dispensary or cannabis industry; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and effects; ability to educate customers and team.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues professionally.
• Lead by example, motivate team members, ensure efficient dispensary operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication; interact effectively with customers, team, and management.
• Understanding of local and state cannabis laws and regulations, including ID verification and product compliance.
• Keep dispensary organized; multitask and manage time effectively.
• Experience operating a POS system and handling cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic retail environment.
• Handle customer complaints with professionalism and authority while maintaining a positive environment.
• Ensure accurate product handling, labeling, and inventory management to meet compliance standards.

Mansioni

• Serve as Key Holder by opening and/or closing the dispensary.
• Assist Store Management Team in training PSPs; assure compliant and accurate dispensing and payments.
• Engage in cash handling activities; prepare drawers, reconcile cash and debit transactions; prepare daily deposits; record cash tips.
• Participate in store inventory management and restocking as directed by Inventory Lead.
• Coordinate staff break schedule to maximize customer support during busy times.
• Troubleshoot customer service issues with professionalism and authority.
• Assist customers with product selection and recommendations based on preferences.
• Educate customers on different strains, products, and consumption methods.
• Process sales transactions and handle cash and card payments.
• Stay up to date on new products, strains, and industry trends.
