Essential Employment Services, Inc is seeking a Retail Personal Service Provider Lead in Clovis, NM. You will help run the dispensary under Store Management, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance while modeling superior service for the team.

You will lead by example in customer service, supervise PSPs, manage cash handling, and help keep inventory accurate and compliant. This role requires strong communication and a welcoming, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old as required by state law.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a dispensary or cannabis retail environment; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods; able to educate customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Key Holder by opening and/or closing the dispensary.
• Assist Store Management Team in training PSPs, ensuring compliant and accurate dispensing and payments.
• Engage in cash handling activities including drawer prep, cash reconciliation, and daily deposits.
• Participate in store inventory management and restocking as directed by Inventory Lead.
• Coordinate staff break schedules to maximize customer support during busy times.
• Troubleshoot customer service issues professionally and with authority.
• Ensure products are labeled and stored per regulatory standards.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations.
• Educate customers on strains, products, and consumption methods.
• Process sales transactions with cash and card payments.
• Stay updated on new products and industry trends.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming team environment.
