Collins Aerospace is seeking a decisive technical leader to head a BSP software engineering team, driving cost, schedule, and technical performance for military products. You will coordinate across software, hardware, and program management to ensure architectural integrity and timely delivery.

Located onsite in El Segundo (preferred Cedar Rapids), the role emphasizes mentoring, staff development, and collaboration with stakeholders to meet customer needs and sustain long-term program success.

Qualificações

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government SECRET clearance is required before start date.
• Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring staff in a technical development environment.
• Experience with program planning, EVM, risk management, and large multi-program execution.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team from entry to senior levels.
• Coach and support career growth and performance feedback for engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and shared services to deliver BSP software solutions.
• Drive BSP software strategy and engineering excellence across the lifecycle.
• Support pursuit and proposal efforts with technical input to win new business.
• Balance resources across programs and monitor performance with EVM.
