Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Broadcast Network Engineer to lead the design, build, and maintenance of broadcast and production networks supporting global streaming and on-air delivery. You will own both broadcast and production networks, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across live video infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in high-availability network environments (broadcast or related).
• Strong firewall management and switching experience (Juniper/Arista).
• Experience with enterprise systems (VMware, AD, Windows Server) and cloud (Azure/O365) in hybrid setups.
• Relevant certifications (CCNP, JNCIP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable spine-leaf networks and segmentation for high-priority traffic.
• Manage and secure networks with firewall/endpoint solutions in a zero-trust framework.
• Lead switching configuration (Juniper, Arista) for high-throughput video delivery and PTP sync.
• Build end-to-end networks including physical racks/cabling and VPNs, QoS, load balancing.
• Serve as Tier-3 escalation point for outages and perform deep troubleshooting.
• Develop docs and SOPs to support scalability and infrastructure health.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support streaming protocols (SRT/RTMP).
