Job summary

Amazon in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Live Broadcast Operations team to design, integrate, and operate live broadcast workflows across Prime Video's portfolio. You will bridge broadcast engineering and cloud-based media tech, partnering with engineering teams, broadcasters, and vendors to ensure scalable, high-quality video delivery.

This on-site role is embedded in the Denver Master Control Room, with influence over infrastructure and workflows powering major live

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in live video transmission, processing, and delivery in a TV network, broadcaster, or streaming platform.
• Hands-on with broadcast and streaming standards (SCTE, SMPTE, HLS, DASH).
• Experience supporting live PCR and MCR operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site technical resource in Denver for live events across NBA, MLB, TNF, and other properties.
• Partner with AWS, Prime Video engineering, and vendors to architect scalable cloud/hybrid broadcast solutions.
• Define and maintain technical specs and integration standards for live content workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex live transmission issues in real time with zero tolerance for failure.
• Drive adoption of UHD, HDR, live ad insertion, and SCTE standards.
