Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Structural (Bridge) Director to join our Carolinas Bridge practice. This hybrid role may be located in Columbia, Rock Hill, or Charleston, SC, with expansion options across the state.

You will manage highway/rail bridge projects, perform design and analysis, mentor staff, and contribute to business development, while collaborating with clients and senior management in a Top 50 ENR firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license in South Carolina is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive design experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects involving bridge/structural design.
• Sign and seal bridge plans as Engineer of Record.
• Mentor junior staff and grow SC-based bridge Group.
• Interact with clients and lead proposals for new work.
• Oversee seismic analysis and maintenance inspections as needed.
