Job summary

STV, Inc. seeks a Structural (Bridge) Director for the Carolinas Bridge Practice. Hybrid work; locations include Columbia, Rock Hill, or Charleston, SC. Manage & lead bridge design, inspections, and rehab projects, with client interaction and business development opportunities.

The role requires a PE in SC, 10+ years of experience in highway structures, seismic analysis, and strong project management. MicroStation proficiency and leadership are essential for growing the SC Bridge Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE license required in SC.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive design experience on structural projects with highway experience in SC.
• Seismic analysis experience; NBIS/maintenance inspection experience a plus.
• SCDOT/NCDOT/GDOT/rail experience a plus; professional licensure and strong client relations required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage bridge/structural design projects and inspections.
• Provide analysis, design, and inspection of bridges and related structures.
• Mentor junior staff and grow the SC bridge group.
• Develop budgets, schedules, proposals, and delivery plans with senior staff.
