STV is seeking a Structural (Bridge) Engineer to join our Carolinas Bridge practice. This hybrid role may be located in Columbia, Rock Hill, or Charleston, South Carolina offices, with consideration to other SC locations for highly qualified candidates.

The engineer will manage design and inspection of highway, rail, retaining walls, sound barriers, and pedestrian bridges. You will mentor staff, lead proposals, and contribute to business development while growing a SC-based Bridge Group.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE license in SC required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive design experience on structural projects.
• Seismic analysis and maintenance/rehabilitation experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage bridge/structural design projects and rehabilitation work.
• Provide analysis, design, and inspection of bridges and related structures.
• Lead proposals, client engagement, and business development efforts.
• Mentor junior staff and grow a SC-based Bridge Group.
• Develop budgets and schedules with senior staff and discipline leads.
• Sign and seal plans as Engineer of Record and oversee project delivery.
• Drive safety and ensure quality of project deliverables.
