Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Structural (Bridge) Engineer to join our Carolinas Bridge practice in a hybrid role, with location options in Columbia, Rock Hill, or Charleston, SC.

The role involves lead design, inspection, and project management for highway and railway structures, with client interaction and business development opportunities. The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of progressive bridge design experience, seismic analysis, and a SC PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; PE license in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive design experience on structural projects; seismic analysis experience required.
• SCDOT/NCDOT/GDOT/rail experience a plus; NBIS and maintenance inspection experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge/structural design projects within the Carolinas Bridge Practice.
• Provide analysis, design, and inspection of bridges and related structures.
• Lead or support structural design on transportation projects and mentor junior staff.
