Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a seasoned Field Manager to supervise skilled trades and oversee large site work projects including concrete, highways, bridges, and utilities. You will collaborate with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineers to guide safety, production, and profitability on complex assignments.

You will lead foremen, develop schedules, manage costs, and ensure compliance with company policies and laws while maintaining high-quality results and strong team performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years field management experience in construction.
• Bridge/Highway experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage several foremen on safe, productive, and quality work.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for crews.
• Assist Project Manager in creating the project schedule.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week crew schedules.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
• Oversee costs associated with work items.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and materials for crews.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
