Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for Seattle-WA or Tacoma-WA offices to lead transportation projects within the Transportation Team. You will deliver high-quality structural designs and manage complex bridge work, coordinating with clients and agencies.

Required: Bachelor’s in Structural or Civil Engineering, 12+ years of bridge experience, engineer license; MS preferred; NDOT work welcome; expertise with structural software such as MicroStation, InRoads, AASHTOWare, MDX, PGSUPER, STADD.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering; licensure required.
MS in civil engineering with bridge focus preferred.
12+ years of post-education structural design experience with bridges.
NDOT/transportation project experience and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for the structural engineering discipline and ensure deliverables meet standards.
Lead transportation projects and manage complex bridge structures.
Develop construction plans, estimates, and coordination with owners and clients.
Collaborate with district structures management and external entities.
Maintain technical excellence and contribute to business development.
