AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Bridge Manager for employment in the Seattle, WA office. The role involves providing technical leadership on bridge design projects, guiding a team, and delivering high-quality PS&E packages.

Requires WA PE licensure and a strong civil/structural engineering background with 8+ years in bridge design, plus proficiency in industry software. Occasional travel and field work may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• WA State Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
• Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years of bridge design and plan development experience.
• Experience with Washington State bridge design projects including seismic/inelastic analysis.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, LEAP Concrete/Bridge, PTC MathCAD, CSIBridge and MIDAS Civil.
• Experience leading staff of engineers and CAD personnel.
• Experience in plan production of transportation structures (bridges, culverts, retaining walls).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of standard engineering practices and codes.
• Ability to perform occasional field work and travel.

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for the team.
• Provides specialized input to studies and design for staff's area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to enable high-quality, cost-effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
