Job summary

WSP is seeking an Experienced Professional, Civil Engineer to join Pacific Mountain West Transportation Engineering Team. This position will be based out of our Seattle, WA office and contribute to the design, development, and construction of transportation infrastructure for public and private sectors.

You will collect and analyze site data, perform civil design tasks with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InRoads, MicroStation), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of post-education civil engineering experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and permitting processes.
• Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compare, and analyze site data, surveys, GIS data, and maps for project development.
• Perform professional civil engineering work including design and research.
• Develop layout references, elevations, and quantities for construction.
• Provide technical input during preliminary and final design and contract documentation.
• Produce CAD drawings in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InRoads, or MicroStation and prepare reports.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and support field/site work and permitting.
