Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for our Seattle-WA or Tacoma-WA offices. Be involved in projects with our Transportation Team and help deliver high-quality structural solutions.

You will lead engineering activities, manage complex bridge projects, and collaborate with clients and regulators to ensure durability and safety. Seaton: 12+ years of post-education experience, professional engineer license, and strong seismic design knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with bridge focus is preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in structural design with emphasis on bridges.
• NDOT or Nevada agencies experience including RTCs, Counties, Cities preferred.
• Engineer license is required and seismic design knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive leadership for the structural engineering discipline across projects.
• Assist in management of transportation projects.
• Lead larger-scale structural engineering projects with scope for budgets and schedule control.
• Coordinate with district structures management and external agencies/clients.
