Sheridan Ohio, part of the Sheridan Group, is hiring a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for day shift 7a–7p. You will run high-speed bindery equipment, perform set-up and maintenance, and help train crew members to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have good mechanical skills and be comfortable with basic tools.
• Able to read measurements and decimals accurately.
• Strong math skills for quality checks.
• Proven ability to work in a team and supervise others.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform all set up operation and maintenance of the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee the work performance and training of assigned crew members.
• Training of Assistant Operator and other crew members.
• Delegate/Assign work duties to assigned crew members.
• Customize orders to specifications/requirements.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Complete processes related to paperwork and forms.
• May handle hazardous waste as a part of daily job functions.
• Other duties assigned by management.
