Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for day shift 7am–7pm. You will run high-speed bindery equipment, perform setup, monitor quality, and help train crew in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a full-time role with overtime opportunities, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days. Ideal candidates are hands-on, mechanically inclined, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and committed to reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read specifications.
• Able to lift 30-100 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Experience with bindery/printing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all set up operation and maintenance of the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee the work performance and training of assigned crew members.
• Training of Assistant Operator and other crew members.
• Delegate/Assign work duties to assigned crew members.
• Customize orders to specifications/requirements.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Complete processes related to paperwork and forms.
• May handle hazardous waste as a part of daily job functions.
• Other duties assigned by management.
