Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is hiring a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for a day shift (7a–7p), full-time with overtime opportunities. You will train to operate high-speed bindery equipment and support a hands-on production team.

This role offers a long-term career in print manufacturing. Ideal candidates have mechanical skills, can read specifications, and work well in a team; lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years machine operating experience.
• Print, bindery, or finishing experience.
• Read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Must be physically able to lift 30–100 lbs.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee performance and training of crew members.
• Train Assistant Operator and other crew members.
• Delegate work and assign duties to crew.
• Customize orders to specifications/requirements.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Handle daily paperwork and forms.
• May handle hazardous waste as part of daily job.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
