Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a bindery operator to set up, adjust, and operate a range of binding machines. You will inspect equipment for safety, coordinate multi-station operations, and direct a crew through all production steps while monitoring quality and productivity.

The role demands physical stamina for long shifts and the ability to handle heavy materials, with experience in read-and-interpret instructions to ensure correct machine sequencing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Extensive knowledge of setup, adjustment, and operation of bindery equipment
• Knowledge of paper weights, sizes, colors, and machinability for quality control
• Experience reading and interpreting written work to sequence machine operations

• Set up, adjust and operate auxiliary binding machines
• Inspect equipment for safety issues
• Operate perfect binders with multiple interrelated process stations
• Coordinate adjustments to synchronize multiple work stations
• Direct crew through all production aspects
