Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a 2nd shift team member to operate offline binding and finishing equipment in our Illinois facility. The role requires setting up machinery for production, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring smooth operation throughout the shift.

You will troubleshoot minor issues, document maintenance, and may train new crew members while coordinating with the team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment that can be set up and operated by following a few steps.
• Ability to perform minor clerical tasks related to equipment operation and maintenance records.
• Capability to identify improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Operate offline and auxiliary binding/finishing/packaging equipment.
• Set up and adjust machine and equipment for production runs.
• Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation.
• Troubleshoot issues and submit maintenance requests as needed.
• Coordinate assignment of crewmembers and train new team members.
