Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret work orders and specifications to determine machine operations.
• Calculate distances, clearances, and fits when coordinating multi-machine setups.
• Operate and adjust bindery equipment to meet quality and productivity targets.
• Knowledge of various bindery machines and their capabilities and limits.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain equipment to prevent defects.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate binding and finishing machines to produce books and catalogs.
• Direct crew through all production stages and monitor output and quality.
• Inspect equipment for safety and ensure dimensional accuracy per instructions.
