Job summary

Premier PV, a premier solar energy systems manufacturer, seeks a Lead Billing Specialist to oversee daily invoicing operations, ensure accuracy, and drive process improvements. The role collaborates with Sales, Operations, and Accounting to resolve issues, supports month-end close, and mentors billing staff to maintain high accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in billing with leadership/mentorship
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred
• Experience with ERP systems and GAAP/SOX awareness

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post accurate customer invoices per contracts, POs, and schedules
• Liaise across departments to ensure timely issue resolution and compliance
• Monitor KPIs, drive process improvements, and mentor team members
• Support month-end close activities related to revenue and AR and ensure audit readiness
• Record and reconcile billing transactions in ERP and maintain audit-ready documentation
