VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a Billing Specialist to issue invoices accurately and on time for its North American client base. You will act as a primary contact for billing questions, support documentation, and ensure data integrity across systems.

The role requires strong attention to detail, proven experience with billing and accounting software, and proficiency in MS Office. You will collaborate with finance and operations to improve processes and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Billing and accounting software programs.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Critical thinking and review to ensure accurate and timely billing to VLS's clients.
• Research, track, and resolve accounting documentation problems and discrepancies.
• Returns telephone messages within 24 hours of receipt; returns email messages in a timely manner as appropriate.
• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.
• Promotes and maintains the confidentiality of financial and other data.
• Reviews Account General Ledger coding for correctness and reasonableness.
• Occasionally places journal entries.
• Processes various reports for month end closing.
• Improves the current process for billing in our software.
• Complies with safety policies, practices and procedures and reports unsafe conditions.
• The Billing specialist should promote positive, professional relationships with co-workers and clients, vendors, and partners.
