Job summary

BrainWorks is seeking a Billing Specialist for a contract-to-hire role with a hybrid schedule in Lewisville, TX (4 days onsite). The position focuses on high-volume invoicing, AR/AP tasks, and accurate coding and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing billing, proficiency with ERP Epicor Kinetic, advanced Excel, and a track record of contract review to generate client invoices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of billing/invoicing experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• AR and AP invoicing duties experience.
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic or similar ERP systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Create and enter AR invoices into accounting software.
• Report, review, coordinate, approve, and route invoices.

Billing Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Hybrid (4 Days Onsite in Lewisville, TX)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3-6 months (potential for extension and/or conversion)

Pay Rate: $32-34/HR

Our team is working with a great client in the renewables/manufacturing industry seeking a Billing Specialist for their growing team. This company is a leading manufacturer in the solar/renewables industry and they are seeking an expert to assist with billing in a high-volume environment, including creating and entering AR invoices into accounting software. These activities include but are not limited to reporting, reviewing, coordinating, approving, routing, coding invoices, and reviewing contracts to create client invoices. This role is hybrid and will be onsite 4 days/week.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 3+ years of billing/invoicing experience specifically in a manufacturing or engineering related industry
• Experience with both AR and AP related invoicing duties
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic or similar manufacturing focused ERP systems
• Excel: Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the solar, renewable, or power generation industry
• Experience with Epicor/Vista Viewpoint
• Experience with process improvements
