Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a leadership role in the Power Generation Team to scale grid-scale storage across multi-site projects. You will own storage design, vendor qualification, and integration with generation to deliver islanded, high-reliability plants.

Qualifications

• Experience scaling grid-scale battery storage projects to multiple sites.
• Ability to size storage systems against real duty cycles and augmentations.
• Experience evaluating BESS vendors and assessing datasheets.
• Proven track record with NFPA 855 and hazard mitigation analyses.
• Ability to integrate storage controls with generation and load.
• Clear, concise technical writing for procurement and exec briefs.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical design and sizing of multi-hundred-MW storage plants across sites.
• Qualify and source BESS vendors; lead factory witness testing and warranty reviews.
• Define dispatch strategies that coordinate storage with solar and on-site generation.
• Drive NFPA 855 compliance and hazard mitigation analysis with AHJs and insurers.
• Oversee commissioning, testing, and integration of plant controls.
