Job summary

Caravel Autism Health seeks a Lead BCBA to conduct assessments, design intervention plans, and supervise clinical teams for individuals with autism. The role includes coaching staff, ensuring treatment quality, documenting progress, and collaborating closely with families and the Clinic Director.

The Lead BCBA will mentor junior staff, coordinate with the CCOE, and participate in training to advance clinical outcomes while adhering to BACB ethics and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst and/or state-licensed where applicable.
• Minimum of three years working as a BCBA.
• Five or more years of ABA experience with autism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducts client assessments using appropriate protocols and data collection.
• Designs and writes treatment plans with goals and required supports.
• Provide clinical recommendations on treatment intensity and transition planning with families and stakeholders.
• Evaluate and modify treatment using the QET measure and document outcomes.
• Ensure assent and withdrawal of assent are respected and measured.
• Collaborate with caregivers to implement programming and support family treatment guidance sessions.
• Supervise BCBA field staff, Senior Therapists, BTs, and RBTs in program implementation and data collection.
• Participate in meetings and workgroups; provide data readouts to leadership and support pilots.
• Follow BACB Ethical Code and Caravel guidelines; comply with reporting requirements.
• Offer BCBA supervision as assigned and contribute to staff training and knowledge transfer.
• Mentor BCBAs and align with CCOE and Caravel guidelines to ensure consistency.
• Provide case consultations and clinical support to teammates as needed.
• Engage in professional collaboration to advance Caravel's mission and clinical excellence.
• Assist with networking and external marketing to support clinic growth.
