Job summary

Caravel Autism Health seeks a qualified BCBA to supervise and manage ABA programs for children on the autism spectrum in center and home-based settings. The role emphasizes quality treatment, adherence to state and insurance guidelines, and development of clinical staff.

You will collaborate with families, clinicians, and care teams to optimize outcomes, provide trainings, and ensure timely administrative tasks and funding forms are completed.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified Behavior Analyst or a state-licensed behavior analyst and meet state specific requirements.
• At least one year of experience utilizing applied behavior analysis and providing behavior services to clients with autism in home-based and/or clinic-based settings.
• Continuous direct clinical support, ongoing professional development, and collaborative upbeat team environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full range of ABA treatment services including assessment, programming, progress monitoring, program modification, parent training, care coordination with other providers, and insurance authorization.
• Ensure all standards of care are followed per state and insurance guidelines.
• Provide clinical recommendations regarding treatment intensity, modality, and transition/exit planning, in collaboration with parents and other stake holders, with emphasis on client outcomes.
• Evaluate and modify treatment based on the Caravel Quality of Effective Treatment (QET) measure.
• Provide training and supervision to all levels of clinical staff to ensure high quality treatment services.
• Supervise others with focus on developing supervisees’ independent clinical skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, and certification fulfillment.
• Collaborate with other clinicians and cross functional team members.
