Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Production Supervisor for our De Soto, Kansas site. You will lead safe, efficient shift operations in a high-volume, 24/7 environment, driving production, quality, cost, and delivery targets while upholding standardized work and Lean principles.

You will develop team capability, coach staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of progressive leadership in a high-volume 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement practices
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; effective communicator

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to achieve production targets
• Ensure adherence to standardized work and SWIs
• Plan and assign work schedules and priorities
• Drive Lean and SQDCP metrics across plant initiatives
• Train and onboard employees on SOPs and safety
• Collaborate on PFMEA and risk mitigation with Process Engineers
• Ensure safety, quality, and operational standards are met
